Today, The Creative Group (the umbrella company for Creative Pod, ECHO, Square One and The Printshop) announced its expansion into the commercial interior space with the acquisition of Sussex based commercial fit-out company, Spacelink Commercial Interiors Ltd.
Spacelink who are one of the South East’s leading commercial fit-out and office refurbishment companies, specialising in mezzanine floors, is headed up by company director, Mark Hawe. The exciting announcement sees Mark and his company Spacelink joining forces with The Creative Groups portfolio of creative-based businesses and it’s well known CEO and Patron of Chestnut Tree House, Matt Turner.
Currently, the group consists of; Creative Pod, which is possibly the groups most recognisable brand and is a well-known and award-winning marketing agency. ECHO, a sponsorship brokerage, Square One, an international market entry specialist and The PrintShop, a dedicated printing solutions specialist, collectively sit alongside Creative Pod to form a powerhouse of creative-based solutions.
Spacelink will mark the fifth brand to join The Creative Group and is the first time the group has stepped outside of its marketing and creative based industries. Although commercial interiors may seem an unlikely next step, the original foundations of this partnership came after Creative Pod created Spacelink’s website and looked after their marketing activity. Then whenCreative Pod were looking to expand into bigger premises and needed help with an office fit-out, CEO Matt Turner, knew exactly who to call. After moving into the new Creative Pod offices, everyone wanted to know who exactly had been able to create these fantastic new offices. It was this which sparked the idea forThe Creative Groups’ next business venture and now sees them diversifying intoCommercial Interiors.
Matt Turner, CEO of The Creative Group, said: “As an entrepreneur, I am always looking for opportunities we can grow and develop. I am a creative at heart, but this doesn’t mean that our growth just has to be within the creative industries, but rather be creative with how we expand. This gives us another exciting string to our ever-growing bow of services, to which we can offer our clients. Ultimately if a strong marketing strategy is in place, this will lead to long term growth and hopefully bigger premises. With Spacelink joining us, we can offer assistance with that next step.”
Mark Hawe, Director at Spacelink Commercial Interiors Limited, said: “Having worked with the team at Creative Pod as a client previously, I know the passion they put into their work and have seen first-hand the diverse range of clients and projects they work on. Working alongside Matt and the team opens up a number of doors to industries that were previously unattainable, I am eager to see what the future brings.”
